We think that minerals are on other planets because other planets might be made of rocks and minerals. If a piece chips off of a planet it might become a new mineral. This website had fun games and made us think more in depth of minerals.

Yes, I think there are minerals on other planets. Since earth's lithoshphere is made of rock, the other planets must also have a similar structure. Therefore, because rocks are minerals, planets must have minerals :D
I think that minerals ARE on other planets because on Mars it is red so there might be some cinnabar. Earth is a planet and we have all different types of minerals on it. The mars rover is on mars so it might lays on soil, sand, rocks and minerals. The mars rover also has proof of rocks and some minerals make up rocks. so that is my answer to the mineral guestion.

The problems that living in space will cause are lack of food supply and water. If having a stroke or other health issues, there will not be any help near by. It would be safer to go to the moon for a shorter time period. Not only you might lose a innocent astronaut, you might lose a million dollar spacecraft. Oxygen, tiredness, and lack of exersize are going to affect the trip. Going on a year round trip will cause a huge risk. Who knows what might happen? The space suit can explode, health issues, lonlyness, etc. A shorter trip and rechecking equipments will lessen the risk of death. If you were to trip on a risk year to mars, bring asstance with you. Rockets providing foods, liquids, medicine, and extra equipment might allow you to live.
