What happens when you get sucked into a black hole? Do you just stay there or get transported to a new dimension or universe.

If we just had a monkey, and their's a near black hole, grabe a very very long rope attached to the monkey. and hold it on to something very stable and strong, then let's see what happens, we can teach the monkey that when it dies, it gives a buzz in our ears, if it succesful for the monkey not to die, then it'll give us a ring in our ears. We just need the technology to do that...

You can't see a black hole because the universe is black. Website was using a computer graffics and some imagination,but still it was fun.

I think it is interesting that if the earth got smaller the gravitational force will get bigger, I always thought it would get smaller. I wonder if a spaceship has ever been sucked into a dark hole, and if it has, did the people in it survive?

I think Betelgeuse (Red giant) looks really cool! I've heard it in a book somewhere I think... it's much closer to Earth than the other things I've seen. Also, it must be really old according to the information section. :D

i enjoy learning about all of these things that are such nagging like how big the universe is or how big is a black hole and what does it look like and how dangerous black energey is but it makes the little nagging feeling in your chest start nagging even more because you want to know what the answers to the questions are.

The website was very interesting. I learned a lot about the hubble telescope. It is so cool how scientists can get so much information from just one telescope.
It's cool how the universe was really hot at first but then as it expanded, it became cooler and atoms and planets, stars were part of the universe. It is nice how they search for supernova's, I would like to see a supernova. It's cool how light can't even escape black holes, but why can't we see them? It's dangerous for us if we ever go to space, I wish we don't get sucked in... What happens when your in a black hole? What if there was some living creature there?

I have a lot of questions about a black hole that havent been discovered yet. what will happen if you get stuck in one or what if one was near us? no one can go in one because you would get sucked in a die? Maybe in the future we will be able to see what is inside a black hole. What if the re is a magical world or if it is just pitch black?

It was really cool to learn that the earth was too hot for even atoms to exist, and very dense. To learn that our huge earth was once as small as a grain eas weird to read about. It finally expanded and got cooler like it is now.
Black holes are very dangerous, its gravitational force is so strong that not even light escapes it. once an object goes through a black hole, it is never to be seen again. I think its dangerous for astronauts to go into space because what if they get sucked into a black hole? is it possible?

The gallery at the hubble is fantastic. Some of the pictures don't look like things in space and I think it's amazing that they took so many pictures from all over the universe. I think that the pictures can help NASA and ISS find out a lot about space from these pictures. I also think that the pictures are more helpful than the ISS' $60 billion plan an dit probably cost a fraction of the price.

I thought the games were really lame and were stupid. Who wants to play with a cow jumping around space. I mean we're not 5 years old! The games should be fun and not boring. The hubble website was amazing!!! I went to the galery and the pictures were awesome! There was a picture of a supernova and planets. I also went on this thing which shows you about black holes it was reall cool.

I Thought the hubble website was very fun. I enjoyed the cow game and got most of the questions correct. I also looked at the black holes power point and found it very iteresting and I think I learned alot that I didnt know and reconized things I did. I also read about the Hubble telescope and learned it was launched in 1990 and that its one of there most succesul long lasting missions. To be honest I thought I would not learn anything in the game but I did also I liked the fact they gave you different questions if you did not get the first ones. I also saw really cool pictures that the Hubble telescope took! I also thought it was awesome that the Hubble found so many discoveries and how far we have come in the years! :D ;)
The website was okay. It wasn't really fun but mostly about facts about blackholes and stuff. The cows in space were not very interesting they were for little kids, I think the website should have been more exciting. I didn't like the game choices because they weren't fun or cool.
I think that the hubble website was really interesting. The cosmic collisions was a very interesting video about Mikly Way and Andromeda colliding and then that is the end of the Milky Way.

It was really interesting to learn about black holes.I was very surprised when I found out all of the information scientists knew, when you can not go anywhere near them! Luckily, we are light years away from a black hole, so they are no threat to us.
The scientists are confusing me and i dont get how they missed the so called "Dark-Energy" if they were looking exactlyat the coast. How is it moving so fast to expand if it even that old? I think that because usually things that maybe get old or tired they move slower than they were. Maybe if we had a machine or a camera and remote controlled a spacecraft we could actually see the outer part of our galaxy. I think we need something that wont die halfway through... that wont even die at all to get out there and start searching for that coast and seeing for real if it is moving so fast or so slow but to our eyes theyre slow.
We think that if they were in space for more than a year they would start losing oxygen. We also think that they would lose lots of food and they would go hungry. It would also cause them having shortage of supplies. Also,if somebody was sick it would take a long time to travel back to earth because they might not be in the condition they should be in.:D

I played the black hole game. For they most part the game kind of did everything for you. Then an attatchment to the game was to make a black hole. I thought this was cool because you can scale the planets size up or down so that you can see what happens when you get to the pount where you either become a white dwarf or a black hole. Over all i guess it was pretty cool

I watched a video/game about black holes, and our galaxys. About the black holes is that, light cannot even escape it, and inside it looks very demented. The ones about our galaxies are that the andromeda galaxy is SO close to us, that our galaxys may collide and create one big galaxy. Our sun and the planets around it will fly through space for a very long time.
In my Opinoin the website was intresting. It was intresting because it showed me the discovery of planets beyond. Also i showed me the dark energy.
We thought that the Hubble website was quite interesting and we did learn a couple things about space and the other planets on the "Way Out! Quiz". One thing we learned was that there is evidence that water once flowed on the planet, Mars.
The hubble website was pretty good because I went through planets like Neptune and Mars.Plus i saw nebulas and black hole and you got to create a black hole.
In my opinion, the website was cool to see the planets we have discovered that are so far away from Earth. The technology to travel to even FARTHER planes would most likely be more expensive than in the past. That said, I don't believe traveling to undiscovered planets should be top priority. There are people starving, kids fighting cancer, and plenty of people fighting disease.

one of the problems is that is the space craft went out of control it would possibly move farther away from earth and it would take longer to get home. one of the health problems is that u wouldnt get enough excersise and enough food. to prevent these problems there may be better techlonogy

This website is SO COOL!!!! We checked out the gallery and saw these really amazing pictures. Sakina says she likes the one of the dog star and the nebulas. Victoria agrees!!! :) We find it fascinating how technology has showed us all these cool things about space that we didn't know before. :)

I have learned that the Hubble Space Telescope was launched in 1990. Also that the Hubble Space Telescope prbits the earth daily.It also gave hundreds of thousands of images to scientists to explore or galaxy and others. It helped us learn about dark matter/energy. The Hubble SPace Telescope helped us age our univurse, but once again we can't be completely sure if it's wrong. Right? One question i have about the Hubble Space Telescope is how did it get the name? What does Hubble mean?

I think that if we got sucked into a black hole, we would die because there is no oxygen or atmosphere. I also believe that when or if we get sucked in, life on Earth, or in our atmosphere wouldnt continue therefore, our species would be extinct.
The most interesting we learned is how,fortunately, the Earth and the Sun will never be black holes.
